Today while opening the windows task manager,I got some error and then the options to maximize,minimize or close task manager disappeared.Now the problem was I was stuck with the Task Manger window and wanted a way on how to close the task manager.The only way was to reboot my Computer.

This occurs when your Windows Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint Mode.
How to resolve this
Double click on the top grey portion around the tab,Task Manger will be back to normal and you will be able to close it.This works for Vista too.Here a video to help you.
