Spammers just want a way to spam facebook and the best part is finding a topic that interests people a lot.And the current news that is trending the internet is the death of Osama Bin Laden.Theres a video on Facebook that says Osama Dead - Censored Video Leaked and people being curious click on the link.
On clicking the link you will be taken to a page where you are asked to do a security check and once you click Watch the Video you will be asked to do further instructions.
You will be asked to press Ctrl + C,Alt + D,Ctrl + V and then press Enter.
How the spam spreads :
• As you press Ctrl + C,you copy the text.
• Alt + D turns on Caret Browsing.Learn more watching this Caret Browsing video.This feature places a moveable cursor in web pages,allowing you to select text with your keyboard.
• Ctrl + V will now paste the selected text.As soon press enter,the similar message Osama Dead - Censored Video Leaked will be posted on your friends wall using Facebooks latest Send feature.
