Avoid overcharging your battery
Lithium batteries if overcharged,causing the battery to get overheated which decreases the power capacity.Try to fully drain you battery,but not too often.
Reduce Screen Standby Time
Keep your screen standby time as low as you can.I reccomend to keep it on 10 seconds,less than that will be better.Make it low but make sure it does not make it inconvenient.
Adjust Screen brightness
The screen will consume most power of your mobile.The lower the brightness,the lesser power it consumes.While changing your screen settings,remember to turn off the auto adjust.
Turn on Bluetooth only when you need it
This is for those using Bluetooth enabled headsets as people tend to forget to turn them off.Also if you use infrared turn it off.
Close applications when not in use
This is only for those using smartphones.Keeping your applications uses your battery.You cab save your game or other applicayions and start it later when you want.Why keep them running?
Keep you battery cool
Put you phone in a cool place.Avoid long conversations on the phone as it makes you battery to heat.If your battery gets heated then keep your mobile in a place where the battery will cool quickly.Try using headphones for long calls as it saves you battery.
Keep your wallpaper/Background simple
Avoid having moving or animated images as your wallpaper or background images as it make use much amount of your battery.
